Concerts in the Planning:
16th May - Haydn's Creation
A joint venture with the Liverpool Mozart Orchestra
At the Tung Auditorium
BOOK HERE
We are very happy to be one of two choirs invited by the Liverpool Mozart
Orchestra to sing for them on their rendition of Haydn's Creation.
The Orchestra is one of the most prestigious amateur orchestras in the
North, expertly led by Robin Wallington and recently under the batton of
guest conductor Simon Rattle. If you want to hear how that sounded have
a Listen Here - and maybe you can guess the piece.
The university choirs and the Oriels will join together on the day having been prepared by Louise Ellinson and Rudiger Ruwe respectively.
For us it is only the second time within our recent history that we will have sung together with a full orchestra. The last time was when we put together an orchestra, including many players from the Liverpool Mozart Orchestra, for our rendition of Sullivan's "Light of the World".
If you are a job seeker, student or on universal credit, you can find tickets for £7, otherwise the standard ticket price will be £22.
We hope you are looking forward to this as much as we are.
