We are the Oriel Singers - a dynamic, ambitious, mixed voice  - and mixed age - classical choir of about 25 voices.

We are based in Liverpool, England and rehearse in Holy Trinity Church Wavertree on Tuesdays at 7pm.

Our programs usually alternate in being accompanied or unaccompanied. While we do enjoy some out of the ordinary programming we strive to have a mix where well known favourites are not neglected. 

The choir attracts singers from a wide variety of backgrounds, all of whom enjoy singing together under the guidance of our Musical Director, Rüdiger Ruwe.

If you are interested in joining do not hesitate to come by. Although the level of musicianship of the singers is quite high, instead of a formal auditioning process there is just an informal chat with the director after a few rehearsals.

While as a chamber choir, we try to do our best during the rehearsals, after concerts or the rehearsal there is usually a friendly group who continues to socialize in the pub and the choir has created many friendships over the years.
